memo for myself
Thursday, December 7th, 2006ei attorney joaquin, can you stop blaming yourself for what happened this morning? can you stop saying "i could have done this" "i should have done that" ‘coz it will only drag your self-confidence to the drain. you know very well that you did your best. stop blaming yourself for not inquiring into the propriety of your opponent’s manifestation. anyway, you could always inquire later and if the court records showed that he’s just "delaying the proceedings" you could always charge him with contempt of court (you know that very well, i dont have to remind you). and hey, its just a pre-trial, not judgment day, you still have the next hearing, revenge attorney, revenge ha ha ha. don’t mind your client’s comment, you are the lawyer here, c’mon, if there’s one person who knows the pros and cons of the case, it’s you and not him. you did your best, you know that and hey "di ka pa talo" so dont act as if you lost the case already, infact, it’s just starting. go ahead and endulge yourself to a kiwi frio frito or a new pair of havaianas. cheer up and stop thinking about negative things. it won’t help you. remember, this is just a part of your job, and dont make a big deal about it, "resetting" is just a normal thing (you know that very well, hay, i have to remind you na naman). so, stop battering yourself with negative emotions, these are just one of those days, it will past, let it past, and please, let it end here. when you press the "save" button at the end of this page, let it be it, dont dwell on it anymore. stop being "nega", it’s not-a-so-good way to start the weekend. enjoy the rest of the day. life is beautiful my dear.
(sometimes, it pays to talk to yourself he he he…i’m meeting poi at sm north edsa later…yehey, "cerealiscious" ulit! sarap!)
